Prolite Luggage is Perfect For Travel Now

Are you planning a business trip or vacation? Have you traveled by airplane recently? Are you aware of the surcharges for oversized luggage and overweight bags? If you have answered "yes" to any of these questions, you will be glad to know about Prolite Luggage. These bags were designed by ten engineers in the luggage industry with a total of three hundred years experience. And what's more, they are perfect for travel in today's market of new airline rules and regulations. You will be charged for oversized bags over 62" linear inches. That is the total of the height of the case, plus the width, plus the depth. You will also be charged for overweight bags.

Most airlines have a fifty pound weight limit, but that is not with every carrier so you must check with each of your airlines if you wish to avoid these surcharges. You can also be charged a surcharge for both the oversized bag and the overweight bag, doubling the charges! Prolite's largest case is a 27" Pullman. This is larger than the 26" size that most companies now manufacturer. However, it is not as large as the 29" or 30" size that will usually go over either the size requirement or the weight requirement or both. When expanded, the 27" Prolite Pullman case is only 60 ½ inches!

Travel Bag

All of the Prolite cases have a lightweight frame of Cloudlite construction. They are also expandable with CentraEx expansion for two inches of more space when you need it. Maybe you buy a lot of souvenirs, or like to shop when you travel. There will be room when you expand the case. Additionally, the case can be used for shorter trips unexpanded, or longer trips with the expansion zipper open. It will still remain under the 62" linear inches even when expanded, and stuffed with clothes and travel accessories. Prolite also has an expandable 24" Pullman for shorter trips, or for those who pack less. The 27" Pullman case weighs less than eleven pounds and the 24" weighs less than ten pounds without the garment sleeve. A garment sleeve is included with each Pullman case, but is used only when packing men's suits or sports jackets. It is a removable sleeve that can also be packed anywhere in the case, or used separately.

Prolite Luggage also has a 30" rolling duffel that weighs slightly over nine pounds. This is also well within the airline size restrictions and has the same Cloudlite frame construction. The wheeled duffel also has two individual packing areas for organization. There's a large main compartment, but the bottom area also opens completely to pack shoes, or toiletries, or dirty laundry on the way home. There's also a water-resistant pocket for a wet bathing suit, etc. This handy wheeled duffel has collapsible construction flaps that allow you to collapse the duffel flat for storage. Can a case get better than that?

Besides being 35% lighter than conventional luggage, Prolite luggage includes all of the deluxe features frequent travelers love. It's constructed of strong, durable Ballistic nylon. The Pullmans also feature zippered pocket cross straps to reduce shifting and wrinkling of contents. There are also elastic mesh shoe pockets, and a roomy outer pocket for last minute items. The strong, inline skate wheels will travel effortlessly across multiple surfaces. The add-a-bag strap allows you to wheel more than one piece together. The carry on satchel weighs only 1.8 pounds and has the Attach-Mate pocket on the back of the bag. This allows you to slide the bag over the pull up handle on any of the cases and wheel it along on top. The satchel folds flat and can also be packed and used for souvenirs or extra purchases on the way home. It also has a removable shoulder strap and water-resistant pocket for your convenience. Prolite Luggage is the right size, lightweight and the perfect way to travel today!

Canon Rebel Camera Case - Finding The Perfect One - Case Solved

Have you been shopping around endlessly looking for the perfect camera case for your Canon Rebel? I'm always perplexed, as to why camera manufacturers refuse to include a camera case with their cameras. The original manufacturer knows the camera design far better than anyone. They know where the weak points are, and how best to pack their cameras for storage and shipping. It's really a mystery. Fortunately, I do have a few suggestions to help out.

One choice to consider, is whether to have one big bag, or two. You could get away with one big case to carry the rebel, tripod, filters, memory cards, batteries and the inevitable assortment of lenses. While it's certainly nice having everything in one place, and cheaper to have just one case, it can be heavy and difficult to travel with to. An alternative I prefer, is having one big "carry everything" case, and one small "run out the door with just the essentials" bag.

Travel Bag

The small bag should be just big enough to hold your Rebel, a default lens, and possibly a spare battery. That's it. It's perfect for the short trips to the beach, the hike, or the nieces birthday party. It also removes the potentially bad decision to just chuck the camera totally naked into the bottom of your backpack with a bunch of other camera wrecking stuff.

Be sure to check the straps and hand grips that come with the case. You'll want something substantial, with good stitching or riveting attachment points to the case proper. Having straps and grips is kind of nice as it gives you more options for moving your gear. Lugging your Canon through the airport with a few other bags, is a different experience, than just toting your Rebel to the beach for a few sunset photos. Having straps and hand holds that are detachable is an extra bonus.

A non brand name camera bag is not such a bad idea as well. While you may be proud of the fact that you own one of the premier brand name cameras, it also makes it a potential target to thieves and other sticky fingered fiends. Cheap synthetic materials may not look as nice a rich Corinthian leather bag, but they can be just as tough and durable as the expensive leather ones. Again they will appear less conspicuous, which can be a very good thing.
